It's good to know that in this increasingly digital world that there's still room for physical retail. We've worked for a lot of old-school retailers who embrace the "stack 'em high, watch 'em fly" philosophy but none more so than Victoria's Basement. This is their first Queensland store at Queens Plaza in Brisbane. It’s a deceptively simple concept but involved careful consideration of the customer journey, adjacencies, lighting, layering of the signage and communication, finishes, specifications, fixturing, shopfront, getting landlord approvals, the development of the perfect knife display...the list goes on but at the end of the day it's the merchandise that's the star.
